Frequently Asked Questions
We'll try to answer some of the most frequent questions we receive about Magic Rosin™. If you have a question you don't see answered here, please contact us at email@example.com.
What are the ingredients of Magic Rosin™?
Magic Rosin™ is formulated with only premium grade pure pine rosins; heated, blended, and poured.
Why is Magic Rosin™ clear?
Magic Rosin's ingredient rosins are purified and processed. Though Magic Rosin™ is almost transparent, it is considered by many to be a grippy rosin.
Won't the design become blurry with use?
Yes, unfortunately, the design will become blurry eventually. But, the good news is that you can refresh your Magic Rosin® design image anytime you'd like. Just lightly swipe a common alcohol wipe (from drugstore) over the top of the rosin and let it dry completely before touching it (a minute or two). This will refresh the design image. What are the dimensions of the sizes of Magic Rosin™?
Both medium and large sizes come in a self-contained plastic container with a twist-top lid. Both rosin cake sizes are 1.5 inches in diameter. The large is .6 inches tall and the medium is .3 inches tall.
I keep hearing about all the different Magic Rosin™ formulas. What is the difference between the formulas.
Magic Rosin™ currently comes in two formulas: 3G and Ultra. They are both considered "grippy" rosins, but the Ultra is even more grippy than the 3G. Both provide a great deal of stiction and resistance while allowing for a clean complex tone.
What's the deal with all the designs? Are they different formulas?
Magic Rosin comes in only 2 formulas: 3G and Ultra. Each formula comes in over 40 different designs, though! The inventor and developer of Magic Rosin™, Sarah West, comes from an artistic background. She is a cellist but also spent years making glass beads. Magic Rosin™ designs were a natural development when she realized the rosin was almost transparent.
